Air Driven Diaphragm Pumps
Gorman-Rupp air driven diaphragm pumps stand
up to the abuses of the most demanding sludge and slurry applications
due to the rugged construction and extra thick pump casing.
Air-driven diaphragm pumps can operate dry,
with the suctions lifts up to 20ft. and can also handle high
solid contents up to 70%.

Compressed air applied to top of diaphragm
forces the diaphragm down and discharges liquid.

The solenoid is then signaled by an adjustable
controller to halt incoming air. Compressed air is then directed
into the bottom of air cylinder, raising the air cylinder
piston and retracting the diaphragm. The retracting diaphragm
fills pump cavity for next stroke. Used air is exhausted
to the atmosphere.
