Electronic Communications Register Family

Invensys Electronic Communications Register Family

Available for all Invensys positive displacement, compound and turbo meters.

Invensys Electronic Communications Registers (ECR) interface with TouchRead System reading equipment and other Invensys AMR systems. These absolute encoder registers are available in several configurations including pre-wired factory sealed watertight versions for reliable service in harsh, wet environments such as underground meter pits and vaults.

Proven in millions of utility installations, Invensys absolute encoder technology provides outstanding dependability. ECR flexibility enable the same registers to be used when moving from one type of Invensys meter reading system to another.

TouchRead System

Invensys Touch Read System

Automates on-site meter reading and billing operations

This versatile meter reading system reads inside meter sets and meters in underground pits or vaults.  Proven at hundreds of utilities since 1984, this meter reading system eliminates meter reading problems and errors while speeding the on-site reading process.  In less than two seconds, each meter reading is electronically transferred to a Invensys AutoRead HandHeld Device (AR-HHD) through a wireless reading gun or probe.

The reading data is later off-loaded to a PC at the utility office where it can be used to generate management reports or for printing customer bills, speeding the on-site reading process.  In less than two seconds, each meter reading is electronically transferred to a Invensys AutoRead HandHeld Device (AR-HHD) through a wireless reading gun or probe. The reading data is later off-loaded to a PC at the utility office where it can be used to generate management reports or for printing customer bills.

RadioRead System

Invensys Radio Read System

As fast and easy as walking or driving along the street

Offers a choice of meter reading options.  A handheld unit can be used for reading RadioRead equipped meters, TouchRead System meters, or for manually entering visual readings by meter readers on foot. A more powerful vehicle transceiver has greater range and can be used in any car or truck at any time to read meters as the vehicle drives past RadioRead equipped meters.
